We are recruiting for suitably qualified and experienced lawyers to handle their own caseload of commercial property matters ranging from franchising, commercial property finance and leisure and development. You will act for a range of clients from large corporations to sole traders.
The successful candidates will:
- Advise on a range of commercial property matters including sale and purchase, development and funding schemes for freehold and leasehold properties, rent reviews, lease renewals and property taxations.
- Draft and negotiate leases and contracts, acting for both landlord and tenants.
- Work on acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property
- Provide commercially focussed solutions to clients across a range of sectors and work closely with the Corporate department.
- Secured lending
- Portfolio property management work

Given the nature of the work you will ideally possess 4 - 8 years PQE and be able to evidence proven results in a similar fast paced legal environment. However, applications from differing PQE’s will be considered.
You will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and due to the large volume of work, you must be proficient at working in an organised and efficient manner. You will have sound drafting and negotiating skills and will thrive when working within a team on complex matters.
The salary is market rate plus a range of benefits working in a progressive, forward thinking firm based near Birmingham.
