My client is a leading professional services business based in Central London. An opportunity has arisen within their legal team for a lawyer with litigation experience to handle a range of fast moving litigation and regulatory issues.

The Litigation team works across the whole UK business, handling a wide range of challenging and significant litigation, regulatory issues and other contentious problems on an international basis. The role will involve working as part of a team to defend claims and regulatory investigations; working with regulators and assisting with day to day contentious situations. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in and drive other commercial work and projects across the business.

The successful candidate will have at least four year’s post-qualification experience in the commercial litigation team of a top City law firm. You will have knowledge of professional negligence claims, an ability to work internationally and travel when necessary. Of equal importance are excellent communication skills, the ability to build relationships and the capability to determine strategy and influence negotiations in an innovative business environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with a contentious background to make a move in-house to a prestigious and fast-paced organisation.
