The company is offering a new opportunity for a lawyer to form part of the European legal team based out of their growing Wilmslow office.

Reporting into the Senior Legal Counsel –Europe (the head of the European Legal Team), but working at times with a degree of autonomy, you will be responsible for a variety of commercial legal matters originating both in the UK and in the wider European field operation.

The Assistant Legal Counsel will work on a variety of commercial contract matters including terms and conditions, supply of goods and supply of services agreements, distribution and agency agreements, confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements, research and development agreements (e.g. Collaboration Agreements), and sales agreements.

You will also assist in providing advice on compliance, risk management and the development of procedures and appropriate risk mitigation measures as well as the resolution of potential compliance issues.

To be considered for the role, you must be a UK qualified solicitor with at least 1 years PQE in commercial contracts gained in an in-house legal team or a high quality private practice environment. You will have strong personal communication skills, be capable of dealing with a wide range of people and be a strong team player who is both committed and flexible.
