As a pure online business with a mobile first ethos that brings the excitement of sports betting, casino games, poker and bingo to a rapidly growing number of customers in the leisure betting and gaming market, the company has sustained rapid growth over the last few years.

Owing to the growth curve, which includes a possible IPO, the legal function is now looking to hire a corporate lawyer to help the business achieve its strategic goals.

The bulk of the role will be general corporate work, such as joint ventures, M&A work, ad hoc special projects, corporate governance matters, international structuring, the potential IPO as well as supporting the company secretarial function. You will of course also have the opportunity to support the business on other commercial and strategic advisory matters, giving you the opportunity to add to your skillset.

The role would suit an individual with a strong corporate law background and at least 3 years PQE, gained at well regarded corporate team of a commercial law firm.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated and pro-active, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously and to find sound commercial solutions to challenging legal issues. You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be adept at liaising with stakeholders from all levels of the business.

Prior in-house experience is advantageous but not essential.
