Claims Handler - A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced claims handler to join a thriving personal injury department of a Top 50 law firm.
JOB TITLE: Claims Handler
PQE REQUIRED: 12 months experience
LOCATION: Merseyside (commutable from: Liverpool, Warrington, Southport, St Helens)
SALARY: Dependant on experience
THE ROLE:
This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated claims handler to join one of the most highly respected firms in the country. You will be responsible for handling your own caseload of pre-litigated motor claims including PI from inception to settlement, including attending client review meetings, assisting with internal and external auditing and providing ad hoc support.
THE CANDIDATE:
To be considered for this Claims Handler role you will have experience of the MOJ portal, stages 1 and 2 aswell as pre-litigation experience. Candidates who have experience of dealing with PI claims under the predictive costs regime are desirable. This is likely to have been gained working as a paralegal or claims handler within a busy law firm or in-house team. You will be able to effectively prioritise a busy caseload and take a flexible approach to your work aswell as be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
