An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trust & Tax Private Client Solicitor to join a prestigious regional law firm in Salisbury and assist our client’s Private Client team which handles work that is interesting, diverse and high quality.
The nature of the Private Client work relates to wills, trusts and tax planning with particular emphasis on estate planning for high net worth UK individuals and foreign domiciled individuals. This includes advising trustees and beneficiaries of offshore trusts and multi-jurisdictional tax and succession planning issues.
Responsibilities will include assisting others in the Private Client team with the opportunity to develop a personal caseload.
To be successful you will need to be a highly motivated, client focussed individual with a commercial, conscientious and methodical approach as well as a team player.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience of Private Client work including high end Private Client and Tax work;
- An analytical and flexible approach;
- A willingness to develop your technical knowledge including passing STEP and/or ATII examinations;
- A genuine interest in Private Client and Tax work;
- A proactive, methodical, conscientious and self-sufficient attitude;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent communication, organisational and people skills;
- Commercial awareness and enjoy working as part of a team.
