The London office of this mid-Atlantic US firm is looking for a junior property finance lawyer to join its highly regarded team.
Acknowledged as being at the forefront of the London market in terms of quality of work and reputation, the firm’s real estate finance team represent
real estate industry clients as borrowers, lenders or investors in a wide range of debt and debt-related matters, including financings and refinancings, loan extensions and restructurings, negotiated workouts, foreclosure and in-lieu transactions, bankruptcy proceedings, and associated litigation, as well as investments in distressed debt.
They have longstanding experience through many evolutions in real estate finance in both up and down cycles, including:
- Acquisition, construction and permanent mortgage financing for all property types
- Mezzanine and other subordinated debt financing
- Credit facilities for REITs and other operating companies
- Subscription secured credit facilities for funds
- Participated, syndicated and securitized debt
- Multi-layered borrower structures and complex creditor arrangements
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior real estate finance lawyer in the early stages of their career looking to join a rapidly growing presence in London who have very recently been acknowledged as having a growing dominance in the London market. Breadth of work and early responsibility assured, this will suit someone looking to take the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will have gained at least 18 months’ worth of property finance experience at a top National firm as well as having stellar academics.
