You will play a key role as part of multidisciplinary teams in delivering a range of high quality, robust and timely projects. The role will vary from project to project and will depend on your skills and experience. As a Project Manager you will take the lead in identifying projects, driving the project forward on a day to day basis, help devise the scope of the project consistent with the CMA’s wider strategic goals, manage risks and ensure that the project is run following appropriate processes including ensuring that all stakeholders are treated fairly. Depending on your experience, on some projects you may act as a Project Adviser leading in delivering challenging analytical or technical workstreams.
Whatever project you are involved in, you will be passionate about your work and highly professional, able to deliver results in challenging timeframes, make decisions and come up with effective solutions. You will develop influential relationships with a wide variety of people including parties and their advisers as well as with colleagues at all levels of seniority within the CMA. In addition to a track record in managing and delivering projects of this nature, you should have experience in gathering, analysing and managing complex information and in drafting reports for a variety of audiences.
