Our client, a stellar energy firm with one of the most highly evolved and successful global energy practices worldwide, is looking for a mid-level finance lawyer to join its London team.
The firm is strongly grounded in the natural resources sector and has particular prowess in the upstream, mid-stream and power sectors with the London offices working on a lot of cutting edge work in the US and Latin America. It was one of the first firms to advise on shale based projects nearly 10 years ago and is characterised by its high end, headline work that is frequently ahead of the curve.
The successful associate can expect to work closely with their international colleagues to advise on a broad range of natural resource and infrastructure financings, including project finance, pre-export finance, infrastructure finance and preferably some acquisition finance. You will ideally have experience working on deals in African and/or BRIC countries, as well as, a strong interest in getting further involved in this kind of work.
The culture is meritocratic, open and high calibre. There is ample opportunity to undertake greater involvement in projects and push upwards at the firm.
Compensation - US salary £115,000-140,000
