We are working closely with an elite US firm in London as they undergo an exciting period of development and expansion. The firm is looking to recruit into its Dispute Resolution team and there is a new opportunity for a junior UK qualified associate to join the firm.
The Dispute Resolution team is made up of highly-experienced senior UK qualified partners with Magic Circle backgrounds, having held senior positions in their respective previous firms.
The practice is now firmly established in the London market and has built up a strong reputation for international dispute resolution work including investment treaty and commercial arbitration, as well as banking and financial services litigation and alternative methods of dispute resolution.
Due to an extremely healthy pipeline of work there is space for at least one new associate, and the partners are keen to hear from candidates who are ambitious to play a key role in a small team, and benefit from a broad range of top-level experience.
Anyone coming in to join the practice at this point will be a key member of the team going forward, which is especially attractive given that the firm offers meritocratic progression for its London-based lawyers.
Ideally, candidates will have experience of both arbitration and litigation, but those with a concentration in purely one area of dispute resolution are also invited to apply, provided they are coming from the Magic Circle or another top-tier international firm.
Candidates should have around 1-3 years of PQE but those with slightly more experience will also be considered.
The firm will be paying at full New York rates, which will be a significant increase for any lawyer coming from a UK or mid-Atlantic US firm.
