Brand new construction litigation role within a major international firm with presence in key global financial locations, and a very established mid sized London office. This firm has been on a recruitment drive in the past couple of years, and there is now an opportunity for a contentious construction associate to join the ranks.
Though the team cover a mix of both contentious and non-contentious work, this role is solely a contentious position and the work will be focused on major projects in both the UK and internationally, in particular the Middle East. The team also handle a significant amount of international arbitration and due to an increase in instructions this role will also include arbitration, adjudication, litigation and insurance related construction claims. Clients include major banks and insurance businesses, contractors, sub-contractors, engineers etc. This is a role which offers a great deal of variety and your skills will certainly be developed during your time here.
This team has a good track record of promoting from within so there are career prospects as well as healthy salaries and excellent exposure.
Minimum requirements:
* Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years PQE
* Must be experienced in contentious construction from a comparably ranked practice
* Excellent academics (minimum 2:1)
* Commercial acumen and willingness to take part an active part in business development and marketing initiatives
In return you will be remunerated with an outstanding salary and the opportunity to work with high profile clients on a variety of interesting matters. There is also an interesting mix of contentious work involved in this role and you will be afforded the opportunity to take on international arbitrations whilst still specialising in contentious construction
