LAW Absolute are working with a legal 500 commercial firm with offices in Hertfordshire on a new permanent opportunity to join their property litigation team.
Due to an increase in workload and a need to expand the department the commercial litigation team are recruiting for a commercial litigation lawyer to join their established department. The focus for this role is Commercial litigation however, there will also be an element of Property Litigation (Commercial and Residential) and Insolvency undertaken within this seat.
The commercial cases you will work on will include dilapidations, opposed and non-opposed business lease renewals, service charge disputes, rights of light disputes, restrictive covenants, break disputes and easements, tenant insolvency, forfeiture and squatters proceedings.
The residential property litigation cases you will manage will include possessions, disrepair, service charge cases, rent arrears and flooding as well as other residential property litigation cases relating to other property nuisances.
You will also deal with insolvency and bankruptcy work and a small amount of general litigation work.
You will support the team with a wide range of networking events and other business development strategies locally and nationally. The team is extremely collegiate and collaborative. Though you will be accountable to your own work you will also be an integral part of the litigation team.
