A rare opportunity for a talented professional support lawyer now exists to gain solid experience in-house within the established legal department of a well known organisation.
Working in a diverse environment you will be expected to assess policy and practices and put into place new ideas and strategies around improving efficiencies and new ways of working.
You will be given variety of work that will require initiative and self-motivation, as you will be dealing with unusual areas of law as well as providing innovative and practical solutions to the business.You will be exposed to the leadership team at the highest level and will be expected to provide solutions and presentations to a range of legal and non legal colleagues.
In addition, risk management skills, the ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively throughout the business are key.
This newly created role represents an exciting opportunity for a lawyer looking to enjoy a successful career in-house and enjoy a varied workload.
You will be a qualified Solicitor with a least 5+ years experience in a relevant role with the above experience.
Experience from a law firm or a regulatory in house environment will be of interest.
You must be able to work independently and analytically, but also be effective working in teams with both lawyers and other professionals.
Your written and oral communication skills must be first class but most important is your drive to be working on high-profile matters within a challenging, cutting edge environment.
An outstanding candidate will be well versed in the qualities needed for advising a fast moving and commercial business, and will also be able to demonstrate attention to detail, and excellent legal research and analysis skills, with demonstrable ability to apply these skills to produce pragmatic solutions.
