Our client is a leading global engineering and technology services business. This is an exciting broad role which will require an individual who is comfortable in having a business facing role where they will be responsible for liaising with numerous internal stakeholders. role will advise and support the energy business of our client by proactively providing contractual advice and support to their sales team in their tender and sales processes to supply, install and commission power generations services both in the UK and internationally.
This is a full service in-house position and you will be responsible for reviewing, analysing, preparing and revising contractually required documentation for tenders and sale process, including all legal terms and conditions and ensuring consistency and proper incorporation of commercial and technical schedules. This is a business facing role and as such, you will be involved in coordinating with other internal departments such as Insurance, Intellectual Property, Tax, Engineering, Finance and other companies within the group to ensure proper analysis of risk and risk mitigation and inclusion of appropriate contractual terms.
You should be a fully qualified solicitor practising in England and Wales with at least 3 years post-qualification experience at a multinational company or law firm with a desire to work in a fast paced driven business. A flexible attitude and a proven ability to multi-task is essential as is a keen interest or experience in developing mentoring skills in order to share skills and experience with legal and non-legal colleagues.
