Our Banking and Financial Services team is currently recruiting for a talented and commercially focused senior PDL to join their team on a fixed term contract initially to help us deliver some strategically important knowledge projects. Working with a multi office team of over 20 fee earners, this role is vital to the on-going development of the Banking and FS team, strategy and client service experience at an exciting stage of the firm's growth and development.
The role has three main strands of responsibility: Provision of an external presence and support to our fantastic institutional client base; contribution to strategy and project implementation at a senior level, and provision of internal KM support and activities including continued input into KM awareness, precedent management as well as coaching, and training. You will help us deliver strategic and commercial insight into legal, market and regulatory developments and trends as well as assess the impact for key clients and our firm. You will help us develop thought leadership and improvements to the way we work, impacting directly on profitability and the future of our business. Essentially you will become a trusted advisor to both our clients and our colleagues in terms of knowledge management.
To be successful in this role, you will bring a proven track record in quality banking and/or FS work, ideally gained from a large city or regional firm or a senior in-house position. Crucially you will have experience of precedent management, and other knowledge management activities as we need someone to hit the ground running in order to deliver projects within the first few months. You will have great client service skills, and be able to demonstrate your key role in delivering excellent client service. You will be able to demonstrate a passion for working collaboratively, and for sharing knowledge and experience. A genuine inquisitiveness about our business (and that of our clients) will allow you to recognise and develop opportunities, and you will also need the gravitas and experience to challenge convention and processes, and influence at all levels.
In return, this new role offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to make a real difference to an already talented and focused team, supported by a collaborative team of PDLs across the business as well as a clear career structure that rewards and develops you. For the right candidate we could consider reduced hours, or a combination of some home working once established in the role. Although this role is initially offered as a fixed term contract there may well be an opportunity for the right candidate to join us permanently in time.
