PARALEGAL - PERMANENT - LONDON - MUSIC/DIGITALOur client is one of the world's leading open music platforms and provides open access to the broadest catalogue of fully licensed, high quality digital music. The company powers comprehensive digital music services for consumers, developers and a wide range of partners around the world.They are looking for a junior paralegal to join their high caliber and growing legal team in London. You will report to the Head of Legal and work closely with two Legal and Business Affairs Managers and undertake a wide variety of work including drafting and reviewing a range of commercial agreements (including those with service providers, technology and marketing partners, record labels and music publishers). You will be responsible for all NDA's, advising the business on issues relating to music, technology and new media in areas such as e-commerce, consumer law, intellectual property, data protection, commercial and contract law. You will also be responsible for managing certain litigation matters.Of particular interest will be drafting of digital media or music licensing agreements. Good technical grounding within your training contract is key and in-house experience would be preferable but not essential.Strong communication and analytical skills together with excellent attention to detail are a pre-requisite as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
