Our client is a global heavyweight law firm. They are now actively seeking a bright junior Environment lawyer for their London-based practice on a 12m-24m fixed term contract basis.
The firms' Environment & Planning Group is an integral part of the Real Estate practice and also plays a key role in the Energy & Infrastructure group. A significant part of their work is within the Energy field, particularly around energy regulation and emerging policy, climate change advice and renewables. Other areas include Environmental advice around Corporate M&A and to corporate clients and Planning advice for transactions and development projects.
The successful individual is likely to have a minimum of 1 year PQE, with a solid background in Environmental law gained with a reputed practice of a City or international firm. You will have an outstanding academic record as well as experience of assisting in advising major corporates, financial institutions and investors in relation to energy and environmental issues.
