We are currently representing a leading global financial services are looking for a contentious lawyer to work in the Litigation and Regulatory Team. The Team works closely with all areas and level of personnel within the firm globally.
The caseload derives from all aspects of our European operations including investment banking, securities trading and investment management.
Responsibilities:
* Advising Legal, Compliance and business colleagues on potentially contentious matters
* Handling investigations, both internal and regulatory
* Advising Compliance colleagues on regulatory enquiries
* Advising Legal colleagues on legal issues of privilege, governing law and jurisdiction
* Handling litigation and all forms of dispute resolution
* Instructing and managing outside counsel
Qualifications/ skills:
* 5+ years' post qualification (English and Wales qualified) experience required in a leading law firm or financial institution
* Team player with the ability to respond and be flexible to client demands, whilst adhering to firm policies and group practices.
