One of the world's leading manufacturers of chemicals, plastics, fertilisers and metals, is seeking a highly qualified lawyer to join its legal team. The position is based in Saudi Arabia. You will be joining a well-established, sophisticated and international legal department that is committed to future expansion as it services the growing needs of the company.
You will be responsible for advising the company and its' affiliates on, and negotiating, a broad range of projects related transactions ranging from "mega" projects (including ITBs, EPC and O&M arrangements) to day-to-day procurement matters.
You will also be expected to manage litigation matters (including the supervision of external counsel, where necessary) and internal investigations, in addition to assuming responsibility for the implementation of the company's compliance framework.
Ideal candidates will be qualified in a common law jurisdiction, with excellent academic credentials, and have 3+ years' experience with a major law firm. Applicants who are currently employed in the projects, or construction group of a large national/international law firm will be preferred. Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf Region would be an advantage but are not required.
