A Top Tier City Law Firm is seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join the dispute resolution team. The firm has an excellent reputation in commercial litigation and as such will be seeking candidates with strong academics who have completed a training contract at a top tier City or US firm. You must have had a seat within a dispute resolution team and/or have recent relevant experience in this area. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing and successful team and extensive training will be provided.
The team conducts a broad range of work which involves predominantly High Court matters but the department also handles domestic and international arbitrations (40-60% of the work), formal inquiries and inter-jurisdictional disputes. The practice encompasses the whole range of commercial and financial disputes including defamation, insurance litigation, banking litigation, professional negligence, administrative law matters and proceedings for judicial review.
The role can offer an incredibly broad platform for a developing solicitor to continue to grow their skill set. The team is renowned for being supportive and enthusiastic about ‘home-growing’ solicitors with less experience.
Should you wish to apply for this role please get in touch as soon as possible. It is likely the firm will move swiftly to make this appointment. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please note, PQE is only a guideline, all applications will be considered on merit.
At LAW Absolute we endeavour to respond to all applications within 48 hours. However due to the volume of applications we receive we may not be able to respond to every candidate individually.
If you have not heard from us within a 48 hour timeframe your application has not been successful and your details have not been retained. LAW Absolute acts as an employment business for temporary recruitment and as an employment agency for fixed term contract and permanent recruitment.
