About Eversheds
We are looking for a well-organised, highly motivated, committed administrative assistant to join the Company Secretarial Team. You will provide administrative support to a large team of legal advisors and will coordinate and manage a varied workload.
Key responsibilities:
The role is varied, with no two days being the same. You will provide administrative support to a large team including:
- maintaining a sound filing system, including paper and electronic filing and archiving;
- database administration;
- file management, including assisting with opening/closing matters;
- assisting with the monthly billing process;
- assisting the UK team in arranging for filings to be made at Companies House;
- arranging charge registrations at Companies House;
- ordering certified documents and certificates from Companies House, and arranging legalisation where necessary;
- producing statutory books and company registers;
- assisting with the incorporation of new companies;
- providing company searches to fee earners based firmwide;
- liaising with Companies House and other organisations; and
- general administration and team support (including room bookings, team meetings, travel bookings and other tasks appropriate to the local office).
Skills and experience:
The role will suit someone who enjoys a variety of administrative tasks, some of which may be repetitive. Previous experience of working in an office environment is necessary for this role.
You will also have excellent MS Office skills and be a team player with good interpersonal communication and organisational skills. The ability to prioritise to manage conflicting demands is also key.

You will demonstrate excellent organisational skills; confidence in your ability to anticipate what is needed; flexibility and ability to use initiative. You must take account of others' workloads when working as part of a team and offer to help where necessary.
