The London IP team's recent work include leading patent cases such MedImmune v Novartis, the high profile interim injunction obtained in Pfizer v Teva where we obtained an injunction for Pfizer against Teva's generic Atorvastatin product on the day its launch was announced, acting for eBay in the case of L’Oreal v eBay, which has been described as "one of the most exciting and potentially important trade mark law disputes to be heard in England and Wales in recent times", acting for Regeneron v Novo Nordisk on transgenic mouse technology and acting for a chip supplier in a very large smartphone patent battle. Our team has built a formidable reputation and has an enviable pipeline of cutting edge, high value cases.
We currently have around 100 dedicated intellectual property lawyers across our offices in Europe, Asia Pacific and the US, with a wealth of experience across the full range of legal services relating to IP, both contentious and transactional. Our global Intellectual Property litigation team has expertise with the procedural and tactical possibilities offered in all key jurisdictions. With much of our work being cross border we are adept at implementing national and international litigation strategies (including an ambitious business plan for the new Unified Patents Court) to achieve the right outcome for our clients. Most importantly, we are also very much alive to the possibilities for using settlement, dispute resolution and mediation whenever these can provide a better solution.

- Qualified lawyer (NQ-3 PQE) with strong IP Litigation skills in an international environment
- Excellent academic credentials and preferably a technical background.
