Costs Drafter, Devon, 2+ years, excellent rates of pay, 12 month contract. The successful candidate will be a Cost Draftsperson with experience of drafting family legal aid bills.
This ambitious and friendly firm is keen to find an experienced costs drafter for 12 months to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be required to prepare bills of costs complying with all relevant Court rules, practice and directions, deal with files after judgement or settlement through to the point where costs due to the Firm are paid including completing necessary Court and Legal Aid forms, and where appropriate attending on detailed assessments, but excluding enforcement actions on unpaid order costs.
You will also be required to carry the conduct of legal work to the required standard complying with all professional obligations. Previous experience of Microsoft office suite is also essential. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and motivated individual to be an important part of a successful team.
