The candidate will ideally have sound experience of working across all areas of property law, including landlord and tenant, portfolio management and some knowledge of development work. They will be a team player with a client focussed approach and able to demonstrate a willingness to be involved in business development activities. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
This is an opportunity for the right candidate to progress their career and enjoy a fresh challenge within a growing and fast paced team.
The Team:
The Bristol team currently comprises 26 people including seven partners, four senior associates, six solicitors, a legal executive and two paralegals.
Awards & Accolades:
Chambers & Partners (2013) - Sources applaud this group for its willingness to share risk with clients as well as the resources it can bring to bear on a transaction. One source says that it is "willing to work in partnership to achieve common goals and look for opportunities for clients." The team is also deemed "excellent value for money." One of the group's strengths is the sheer diversity of its client base, which includes developers, investors, corporate occupiers and social housing providers. It also acts for a variety of stakeholders on solar developments. Highlights include advising on the acquisition and pre-letting of an indoor winter leisure centre in Weston-super-Mare. Clients include Persimmon, Mapeley Estates and Bath & North East Somerset Council.
Legal 500 (2012) - 's seven-partner team acts for clients including Burger King and Bristol City FC. It advised Leisuredome (UK) on the acquisition and pre-letting of The Leisuredome Locking Parklands in Weston-super-Mare. Team head Louise Brown and Stephen Rosser are recommended.
