JOB TITLE: In-house Lawyer
SALARY: On Application
THE ROLE: As a key member of the legal function, you will report into the UK based General Counsel, provide support across business and will contribute to the business objectives of the business units by advising as required across a wide range of legal issues
*Professionally manage and operationally support the legal function
*To competently identify commercial risks and propose mitigations
*Reviewing and drafting a wide range of commercial agreements
*Employ strong commercial legal negotiation skills as and when required in the course of agreeing contracts
*To professionally support business negotiations from a legal perspective without losing sight of the commercial drivers
*Maintain a culture delivering the highest standards of legal advice
*Manage the provision of external legal support to the business to deliver the highest quality of legal advice in a timely and cost-effective manner
*Contribute fully as a member of the Group-wide legal community and leverage/share knowledge and capability accordingly
THE CANDIDATE: Our client is keen to hear from solicitors with a minimum of 7 years experience in handling commercial and IT contracts. Prior experience of working for an in-house team is essential, as is exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills.
