You will be responsible for existing large accounts and clients as well as developing and generating your own work. You will work on the full range of disputes which you will either lead on or be a key support to the Partner in. You will also look after financial management for the team and will have an important part to play in your liaison with our international offices.

You will have worked for a recognised City litigation practice with good general experience of commercial litigation. In addition, you will be used to playing the Lead Associate role on complex high value litigation and can step into the partners’ shoes when required. Experience of mediation and arbitration as well as High Court litigation is essential and some evidence of exposure to international disputes will be expected. Some exposure to business development activities and a good understanding of how to win work is expected.
To be successful, you must be able to operate at a fast pace in a vibrant open plan environment. You will use your strong communication skills to build effective relationships with existing and new clients, introducing clients to other teams or practice groups. You will drive business development with minimal supervision and contribute to marketing events/activities. We are looking for people with a ‘can do’ approach, who go the extra mile. Someone who strives to understand their client’s needs and brings commercial awareness to the table. A team player, you will support and coach junior colleagues and invest time in other aspects of the business, i.e., training, recruitment, secondment, corporate responsibility activities, etc.
