Reporting to the Systems Applications Manager, this position is responsible for the support of existing SQL databases, cubes and reports and the database design and implementation of future system

Main duties include SQL server configuration, database administration, proactive monitoring and optimisation; SSAS design and administration; SSRS development; document management configuration, development and implementation; understanding of Eversheds' firmwide data model, supporting other technical team members and Project Managers on database related issues.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in using Microsoft SQL Server, Analysis Servcies and reporting Services 2005 and 2008, as well as a strong working knowledge of MDX. A broad understanding of database systems and technologies is essential together with extensive Knowledge of Relational Databases.
