Our client, a market leading international offshore law firm is keen to recruit an England and Wales qualified barrister from a well-known set of chambers or a solicitor (ideally with higher rights of audience) from a leading law firm, to join its litigation practice in the BVI. Russian language skills are required for this position.
You will act for a broad range of blue chip clients spanning commerce and industry, governments and financial institutions. The team has specialist expertise in multi-jurisdictional litigation particularly matters emanating from Asia and Russia. You will regularly co-ordinate with large international law and accountancy firms, as well as the firm's own other international offices. A diverse and high calibre workload is guaranteed from the outset and you can expect exposure to a range of matters including contractual, commercial and corporate disputes, contentious banking and financial services issues, trust litigation, asset tracing, some insolvency and restructuring instructions as well as enforcement proceedings and conflict of laws concerns.
You will have a stellar academic and career history with at 2 years experience of high profile commercial and chancery work gained at a leading set of chambers or top tier international law firm. Russian language skills are an essential requirement.
