Further information

It's an exciting time to be working within the legal profession. The sector is going through an enormous period of change and as a business we need to be able to react quickly to remain competitive. Our recent merger is just one example, but as a profession we remain under pressure to look at the way that we provide legal services and that means new and innovative ways of doing things. That's where you come in!

We're continuing to invest in our projects capability and as one of the project managers in this team you'll have a key role to play in supporting a programme of high profile and complex projects, both internally and externally facing. You'll lead on key projects that are designed to support our strategic business goals, across a number of practice areas and support functions. In addition to taking responsibility for the full lifecycle of each project, you'll also provide a consultancy service to the business by sharing your project management expertise, coaching, mentoring and motivating the teams involved.

This is a highly visible role and in order to gain credibility quickly you'll need to be able to demonstrate a track record in delivering business critical projects on time and within budget. Your practical expertise will be supported by your PRINCE2 or other relevant project management qualification. Exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial. You'll be required to influence a number of stakeholders at various levels so the ability to build strong effective relationships is essential. You'll be a strong communicator, both written and verbal and possess excellent commercial and political awareness.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to really make their mark and help drive our business forward during a period of considerable change.
