Enjoy financial services law but want a better work / life balance? This international firm seeks a financial services specialist 4pqe+ to provide PSL services on a 3 or 4 day week basis.
This is a varied role incorporating:
This is a standard PSL role incorporating the normal duties such as:
- disseminating know-how
- thought leadership
- updating precedents
- legal training
- drafting technical notes
- writing bulletins both for internal and external clients
- assisting with marketing materials
- answering fee earner queries
You will have at least 4pqe in Financial Services law, ideally gained within a leading City / International practice. Alternatively you may have gained your experience working for a regulator or consultancy. It is essential that you have experience in the following areas:
-Good working knowledge of the Companies Act 2006, FMSA, FPO, RAO, the FCA and PRA Handbooks and contract law.
-Good working knowledge of the core EU Directives such as MIFID, BCD, IMD and AIFM.
Previous experience as a professional support lawyer is desirable but not essential, however a strong commitment to move into a professional support role and a proactive and committed attitude to helping the practice expand through non-fee earning know-how creation, management and dissemination is paramount.
