An excellent Assistant Credit Control opportunity in Finance has arisen to work for Eversheds a world renowned law firm in our Leeds office. Eversheds is an award winning law firm with strong presence in Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific.

Your role as the assistant credit controller will ensure we maximise client turnover and minimise bad debts through effective interpretation and application of the firms Credit Policy. 

If you are interested in this position, we are hosting a 'meet the team' evening on Tuesday 22 October. The aim is to have an event where you can find out more about Eversheds, the finance team and the credit function as well as meet the team. This will be an informative networking event, not an assessment. 

Attendance of the event will be by invitation only and you will need to bring your invitation to gain entry to the event. You are welcome to attend the 'meet the team' evening without applying for this position, we'd love to meet you and talk with you in more detail about the role on the evening.

In this position you will be responsible for providing a robust collection service within your nominated Practice Groups and will report to report to the credit manager. You will be responsible for ensuring your performance meets your client’s needs, whilst being target driven to meet and exceed the Firm's targets. 

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: 

-  Experience of credit control for a large organisation 

-  Proven success in a fast paced credit control environment handling a large number of clients 

-  A target driven focus 

-  Ability to build strong relationships with finance/internal and external clients 

-  Offer new ideas and share experience to maximise cash flow across the business 

-  Ability to identify risks and escalate accordingly.

-  A clear understanding of a credit control policies 

-  A clear passionate about service and building good internal and external relationships
