JOB TITLE:Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary
LOCATION: Southampton (Commutable from: Hampshire, West Sussex, Wiltshire, Dorset )
A vacancy has arisen in a highly regarded residential conveyancing department for an experienced Legal Secretary. You would need to be able to assist the Team in opening and closing files and providing efficient and competent secretarial and administrative support in respect of conveyancing instructions received from Clients, Referrers and intermediaries, enabling the Teams to work at optimum efficiency.
You will have previous experience of working in a busy residential conveyancing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening files for the team in accordance with the agreed service standards, inputting data and preparing initial letters and documents, and to provide support to the Team in respect of administrative tasks such as photocopying and the production of correspondence and documents through audio-typing and use of the Case Management System. You will use the CMS to produce standard letters and documents and to prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch and make applications for searches as directed by the Team.
