JOB TITLE:Non-Contentious Construction/Projects Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED:1-3 yrs
LOCATION: Central London, City
SALARY:Negotiable, although likely to be £60-70,000 +
This leading firm's projects and construction team is part of their highly-rated Energy and Infrastructure department and has an opportunity for a solicitor looking to build on existing experience.
The team has a number of high profile clients and works on quality deals. The practice focuses on renewables deals in the wind, solar and biofuels sectors, roads projects, defence projects, rail projects, power and utilities work and infrastructure work in the schools, hospitals and housing sectors. The practice is focused on projects in the UK, sub Saharan Africa, the USA and Europe.
You will ideally have 1-3 years' experience and will need to display a strong academic background and be looking to develop your existing experience to a higher level. Infrastructure experience is essential. Suitable candidates should be able to display experience in PFI, Projects and Construction and the ability to work at a level where they are running a deal, chairing meetings, negotiating unsupervised and acting as the day to day client contact. People skills are a essential as is the ability to work well as part of a team, to develop client relationships and have a level of business acumen that enables the business to grow. You will be expected to take on extensive responsibility and play a pivotal role in this cohesive team. Some travel within the UK and abroad may be required from time to time.
