Our client is one of the leading firms in the City and is now looking to bolster its contentious intellectual property (IP) offering with the hiring of an ambitious and capable junior to mid level IP litigation associate.
This is a chance to work with a highly regarded team with specialist expertise in all aspects of IP and technology work, including trade marks, copyright, passing-off, domain names, patents, designs, confidential information and IT/software matters. The group's clients include leading organisations in fields such as entertainment and media, technology, advertising and marketing, consumer products, investment funds, financial services, sport and fashion.
The ideal candidate will have around two to three years post-qualification experience (PQE) in IP disputes, predominantly soft IP but with some patent and data protection work, together with strong academics. Work will include all kinds of dispute resolution, infringement, ownership, licensing matters and strategy review issues. You will be the lead associate on a number of significant national and international matters and handling daily client contact, whilst also participating fully in the group's business development.
