Business Lawyer / Professional Support, London, £Competitive

Our client is a leading information services company based in London. They currently seek a commercially minded in-house lawyer to support the sales teams with a new product launch and its ongoing development.

You will support the business with expert legal advice on service offerings across a range of legal disciplines. This will include company commercial, corporate, litigation, commercial property and IP / IT law. An understanding of banking and finance law will also be advantageous. You will form strong relationships with the business development and sales teams internally, support the process of business generation and relationship management. Engaging with key decision makers and external clients you will support the sales cycle and provide internal training to the business on a range of technical legal matters.

This role would suit a commercially minded individual who has worked for a top tier law firm in the UK for at least three years post qualification. You will have a strong customer focus and the ability to liaise on a level playing field with senior lawyers and internal stakeholders alike, on a range of commercial and legal projects. You will be client facing in your approach and comfortable leading discussions and negotiations on behalf of the business.
