Our Training Contract
Our four-seat training contract gives trainees an in-depth insight into our core practice areas and key industry sectors, enabling them to make the best and most informed choice of qualification area. Trainees also have the opportunity to spend six months on client or international secondment.
Throughout the training contract our learning and development programme will ensure trainees continue to develop and succeed at every stage in their career.
Applications will open on the following dates for our 2016 intakes:
Non-law finalists and non-law graduates: 1st October 2013 to 28th February 2014
Law finalists and law graduates: 1st June to 31st July 2014
Our vacation schemes offer an invaluable insight into life and work inside a leading, international legal practice. The winter scheme is open to finalists and graduates from any degree discipline. The summer scheme is open to penultimate-year undergraduates from any degree discipline. Securing a place on either scheme is subject to a successful application and assessment day.
On whichever scheme you join, you will have the opportunity to get under the skin of our business and get a genuine feel for what it is like to work here. You will get to participate in actual work with clients – which could involve anything from legal research to attending meetings or court. You can attend training sessions on presentation skills and lunchtime talks about our practice areas. What is more, you will be paid £300 per week and there will be plenty of social events where you can meet our current trainees, lawyers and partners.
