OUR CLIENT
We have received instructions for an exciting in house role for a property/property finance lawyer c 5 PQE to join an estsblished in house legal team.
THE ROLE
The post holder will act as the in house expert advising on and negotiating commercial property/property finance transactions, providing legal advice on policy, documentation, process improvements, acting as an interface between the lending teams and the Bank's external conveyancing solicitors, supporting the property lending divisions and the wider in-house legal team on broader commercial issues.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with the property lending businesses, liaising with key business stakeholders to help facilitate the delivery of strategic/ regulatory change.
There will be additional opportunities to advise on other matters including; GDPR, Regulatory/Risk management, insolvency, litigation and general commercial issues
The role is fullpart time c 4 days per week equivalent
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this unique in house property role, applicants must be able to demonstrate first rate technical skills with a background in Property / Property finance matters ideally with experience of working in the financial services sector.
An understanding of residential and commercial security taking and insolvency/ enforcement work would be of particular interest.
