OUR CLIENT
A leading insurer seeks to recruit a Solicitor c 5 PQE with Insurance Litigation to join the city HQ on a FTC for 12 months
The Role
As a member of an established in house legal team, you will be expected to advise on disputes, investigatory and underwriting matters
You will be responsible for managing a contentious workload covering a broad range of issues of a legal and regulatory nature as follows:-
Provision of commercial and legal support on a contentious caseload including fraud claims, coverage issues, major projects with reputational aspects
IT / IP disputes and complaints.
Advising on Policy /contract interpretation in both a legal and regulatory context
Data Protection Act
Working knowledge of civil procedure and experience of handling litigation and ADR .
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this role; candidates must have relevant technical skills, a litigation background with an insurance focus capable of dealing with insurance, reinsurance and regulatory matters.
