TAX ASSOCIATE - 3-5 PQE - LONDON

Our client is a major international law firm which is currently looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Advisory & Transactional Lawyer between 3-5 years of experience in its Tax team at its thriving London office.  The firm has a market leading tax practice offering City quality work both inside and outside London.  It counts clients including listed companies, foreign owned companies, public sector bodies, institutional investors and banks and assists in maximising the tax effectiveness of all types of commercial practice.

Tax is a core area of its UK practice. It provides tax advice on corporate, property and commercial structures and transactions for both its own clients and those of the firm's corporate, property and projects groups. The work is a diet of restructuring and demergers, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, funding transactions, outsourcing and private equity/fund investments.  This team adds value by providing integrated tax and share plans advice at the structuring stage of a transaction. 

The successful candidate will be joining a team that will give him or her the opportunity to work on major tax deals across the country and internationally.  You will have broad M&A experience and a varied CV encompassing the areas outlined above. Some experience in finance tax (in particular securitisations) and international structuring would also be advantageous. Candidates whose primary experience is in tax litigation would not be suitable.
