The Real Estate team at Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) has a key role to play in delivering on our national sector strategy.  That's why we now have more than two hundred lawyers across our nationally respected team in the UK, with many listed as leaders in their field.

Technical excellence is no longer enough, so we've worked hard to ensure that we combine that with a genuine understanding of our clients and their businesses which allows all our lawyers to add real commercial value.

We are now looking for a Real Estate Lawyer to join the recently established Edinburgh office.

What kind of work will I be doing?

You'll contribute to the success of the business by developing the reputation/brand of the firm, taking a proactive role in building and maintaining client relationships, both in terms of revenue growth and profitability from new and existing clients.  You'll work in property management and investments as well as real estate finance, and have the opportunity to become involved in a broad range of work.

You'll also play an important role in helping us to further develop our local market share, quickly reaching the point of running transactions in their entirety from the outset.  As a key member of the team you'll be involved in business development activities and help to influence strategy for the team.

What experience is needed?

To make a success of this role you'll have at least 1 years' experience as a real estate lawyer, and have some good exposure to quality real estate transactions.  We're looking for you to be engaging with strong client facing communication skills and ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved in a range of transactions.  As important though are excellent organisational, drafting and technical skills.

So what makes it so great to work here?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a premier team where you can learn from true leaders in their field and build your experience with access to great quality work and great clients.

Supported by a collegiate approach, and firm wide commitment to lawyer development there are fewer better places to advance your career as a qualified lawyer.

And that's not all, alongside a competitive salary you'll receive a flexible benefits package so you can pick and choose between the benefits that matter most to you.

How do I apply?

Sounds like a role that you can do? Then we want to hear from you.  Please follow the instructions to make a formal application – just a few contact detail questions and then upload your CV.

If you have questions about the role please do contact me Sara Casey on 0117 989 6559 or email sara.casey@wbd-uk.com (No agencies please we are an in-house recruitment team).

If this isn't the role for you (or the right time) why not connect with me on LinkedIn or follow us on Twitter (@WBD_CareersUK) to keep up to date with all of our opportunities.
