Construction Litigation Solicitor - Leeds - 3 years PQE+

Our client is one of the leading commercial law firms in the UK with a stellar reputation for its construction work. Acting for companies and contractors involved in all aspects of the construction and engineering process, the team offers a high quality service on all contentious issues arising.

The firm is looking for a solicitor to join the team to work on a variety of contentious construction matters (which include projects and environment). The successful applicant will be working with some of the UK's largest developers, employers, public authorities, funders and utility providers.

The work is a broad range across the firm's chosen markets and sectors, particularly Real Estate, Energy and Utilities, Industrial, Retail and Consumer and Transport and Healthcare together with our market leading Managing Risk service. The successful candidate will have a good grounding in construction litigation and ideally have experience dealing with PFI dispute work (BSF and hospitals) and preparing witness and expert statements.  

The team, headed by genuine leaders in the field of construction litigation, seeks to make the appointment of a quality solicitor.  The successful applicant applicant will have at least 3 years PQE behind him/her but otherwise the team is open to the type of candidate it would like to appoint - the key is team fit and the work can be adjusted throughout the department to accommodate the right person.  That person will be working/have trained at a quality commercial firm known for its contentious construction work.
