Legal Counsel – Estates and Procurement
Full Time (Job share considered)
The appointment will be on UCL Grade 10. The salary range will be Competitive salary, inclusive of London Allowance.
The Legal Counsel – Estates and Procurement will be a key member of the University’s Legal Services team and will be responsible for providing advice on a wide range of legal matters, including in particular major capital projects, construction and development, landlord and tenant, title matters, acquisitions and disposals, planning, public procurement, joint ventures, project finance etc.
The Legal Counsel – Estates and Procurement will lead on specific projects within the Legal Services team, will report to the Director, Legal Services and will work closely with UCL Estates.
The candidate must be a qualified solicitor or barrister preferably with at least six years’ post-qualification experience (this is a guideline only - candidates with the required level of skill and experience outside of this pqe level will be considered). The candidate is required to have experience of dealing with a wide range of legal issues, up to date technical knowledge and demonstrable experience operating and influencing at senior management and board level.
