A number two in the department wanted. This successful practice is part of the exclusive UAE top tier when it comes to AR and dispute resolution and continues to be the ‘go to’ firm for disputes on the international side of DR as well as in the local courts. As a UK qualified associate or partner (as an associate you will be looking for that jump to partnership or partnership track) specialising in commercial disputes and construction DR, there is no need for local UAE knowledge (though if you have some that is of obvious benefit) as the courts are set out in the make up of UK Common Law. You will thus, get involved in all aspects of DR including banking and construction litigation.  You may be a disgruntled City lawyer looking for an ‘out’ or a lawyer looking for something a bit different; either way you will have enough experience to run your own caseload. You may also be qualified enough and have the gravitas to come straight in at number two in the department.  An obvious attractive role for the right candidate with the right push and drive.
