Job Details

One of the most highly regarded firms within the Private Wealth space is looking to hire an associate with 3-5 years’ post qualified experience to join its Contentious Trust & Estates team.

Building on its considerable success, the firm is looking for a strong candidate who will be able to provide additional support to the senior end of the team, many of whom are considered leaders in their respective fields, as well as act as a mentor to junior members of the team.

The team handle a wide range of work, from handling wills and succession disputes work to matters pertaining to disputes over works of art and cultural assets. Their client list is varied, and associates might find themselves working with charities, trustees, high net-worth individuals and family businesses.

A lot of the work undertaken by the team is international in nature, with assets located across numerous jurisdictions including private wealth structures offshore. This means that the day-to-day work entails dealing with clients and lawyers in other jurisdictions frequently. This is in no way a ‘corporate-support’ role.

Applicants will ideally have prior experience advising on matters with an offshore/international element, preferably gained at a highly ranked practice in a City, International or specialist firm. Excellent academics are also required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the go-to team for high net-worth private clients, advising on large, multi-jurisdictional matters in a collegiate firm with fantastic career prospects and an enviable work-life balance.

For an initial discussion and further details on this position, please contact Caroline Hammond on caroline.h@piperpritchard.com.

All conversations will be entirely confidential

Company

Our team features ex-lawyers and a two-time Olympian, for a start. We are focused entirely on associates, and placing them into roles that will take their careers to the next level.  Associates are the unsung heroes of firms both local and global, and it’s time that they had a recruitment firm working with and for them alone.
