Legal Counsel for rapidly growing consultancy – Central London

We are seeking a legal counsel to provide support to our client, an international development and consultancy company on a part time basis (three days a week). The main job purpose is to provide timely advise on various legal issues ranging from contractual arrangements with clients, partner, subcontractors and consultants, tender submissions, various forms of guarantees, international supply chain procurement and enquiries from overseas offices.

You will be working collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary colleagues at Head office, other local offices and in international operations on contractual and legal matters relating to the day to day operation of the business. You will ensure that legal documents and other contractual documents are effectively and properly drafted, reviewed and interpreted in order to identify legal risks and minimise such risks and liabilities for the business. Also, advise on queries regarding existing operational projects and contracts, change requests and extensions; conveying legal advice in a manner understandable to non-lawyers.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of PQE as well as in-house experience with commercial/international procurement.
