Excellent opportunity to join the charities and social ventures practice of this innovative and progressive Cambridge firm.
Our client is considered one of the leading firms in the East of England with an excellent and long standing reputation in the Charities and Social Purpose sector. Due to a desire to further strengthen the profile of the team, our client is seeking to appoint a Charities solicitor with 1 year+ PQE. In this key role, you will be working under the auspices of a specialist and very well liked partner, advising a growing and high profile client base which consists of major charities as well as social ventures (both established and start up high growth companies) with both UK and international interests.
The firm would be interested to speak to lawyers with at least 1 year experience looking for a full or part-time role. The firm is very flexible and family friendly and can offer a throughput of very high quality work as well as clear opportunities to progress.
You will ideally have had some experience of the charities sector, however this is not a pre-requisite as full training on charity law specific matters will be provided. You will however bring general commercial or contracts experience gained in the corporate / commercial department of a recognised local or City firm and an interest in new technologies. Good drafting skills are also required for this role. You will also be able to demonstrate a keen interest in working with not-for-profit clients, charities, their trustees and innovative social enterprises.
