This role would suit a Construction solicitor who is keen to join one of the most renowned City law firms. Our client's leading Construction team caters to the needs of both industry leaders and public sector organisations and advises on all construction, planning, development and operational aspects of large infrastructure, real estate and energy projects. They are currently seeking a Construction solicitor with 1+PQE for their London office.
The right candidate will hone their construction law craft by working on landmark projects, both in the UK and internationally. This individual will join a close-knit, dedicated team and will also work closely together with the projects, project finance and regulatory teams. The workload is challenging and diverse, including, inter alia, drafting bespoke documentation, negotiating contracts, amendments and agreements, assisting with public procurement procedures, financing and risk matters.
The right candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Qualified solicitor, trained and qualified and / or gained post-qualification experience within a leading City or international law firm.
- 1+ PQE.
- Outstanding academics (minimum 2:1).
- Stellar legal drafting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent critical and analytical thinking skills.
- A team player who is keen to take on a high level of responsibility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercially aware and keen to participate in business development initiatives.
- Excellent construction law experience gained within a leading private practice law firm environment.
- Prior experience working on large energy and infrastructure projects would be beneficial.
