Ideally for this role you will be 5-8 years PQE, with excellent academics, top city training and a broad scope of general commercial legal experience.
Core responsibilities of the role will include:
Drafting and negotiating international outsourcing and consultancy service contracts under which the Corporate Solutions and IFM business provides services to its clients.
Assisting with the transition of new client accounts across multiple countries.
Supporting the expansion of the business into new growth countries in Middle East and Africa.
Legal support to strategic projects.
Strategic advice on disputes with clients and suppliers.
Instructing and controlling the cost of external lawyers where required.
Existing experience and an interest in negotiating outsourcing transactions is a necessity. This should include being the legal adviser on the supplier side and having worked on sufficient deals to have developed knowledge of typical forms of agreement and key issues; however, sector-specific experience is not essential (i.e. background need not be in real estate sector -could be IT/BPO for example). Some experience of advising on commercial implications of TUPE/ARD liabilities would be advantageous.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
