THE BUSINESS
The MAI business has an unrivalled track record and expertise in the development, delivery and support of military air and defence information platforms, components, technologies, and training through Typhoon, F-35 Lightning II, Tornado, Hawk and Falcon.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a lawyer within MAI you can expect to provide high quality, business-focused legal advice and solutions in a timely manner. Acting as the principle point of contact for a defined sector of the business you will provide in-depth, strategic, professional and proactive legal support and advice.
You will draft and negotiate arrangements with customers and partners, playing an active role in the development of the business whilst managing and minimising financial and non-financial risk.
THE LOCATION
The role will be based at the company’s Warton unit, Lancashire and requires some UK and international travel.
THE PERSON
The successful applicant will be an English qualified solicitor/barrister with 2 to 5 years PQE and will have leading law firm and/or in-house experience, preferably including dealing with complex, international commercial contracts and regulatory and compliance issues.
