This first rate national firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their Family team based in Bristol. Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within an established and innovative Family Team. This role will involve you working closely with partners and fee earners, providing them with a comprehensive, efficient and accurate secretarial and administrative service.
You will be responsible for arranging meetings, conferences and client interviews, organising fee earner diaries and giving administrative support to the team. Your duties will also involve liaising with Clients face-to-face and over the telephone; assisting with queries and arranging appointments to see fee-earners.
What you will need to succeed
You will have proven experience working within a similar role in a law firm. A highly flexible approach and the capability to work well and flourish within a team environment would also be advantageous. You will be working in a busy environment and will need to handle a heavy workload - therefore it is essential that you have excellent organisational skills and are capable of using your own initiative. In addition, you will be dealing with client telephone calls so a good telephone manner and the confidence to deal with a wide range of people will be important. You will possess excellent audio typing skills with typing speeds of at least 65 WPM and good GCSEâs/O Level passes including Maths and English.
